This is me.

    I, Hazel Ann Agapinan, is a student in grade 10-Maxwell of    I, Hazel Ann Agapinan, is a student in grade 10-Maxwell of ISNHS. I am a shy person and not very sociable but I am friendly. I love all about nature. I love going to beach especially since it's just near our house.

   I have a lot of friends and I also have two best friends, they are my classmates since grade 7 until now. They’re both smart and have pretty faces. We love reading stories from Wattpad and talk about the story when we're done reading it. I have two siblings, a sister and a brother. I'm the eldest of them. Our mother is working abroad while our father is a fisherman.

   I’m a kind of person who loves watching anime movies. I also love reading stories with a genre; romance, mystery, sci-fi, action and drama. I love cats and dogs but I only have pet dog. I also want to have cat but our father won't allow it. I like the color black but I'm afraid of dark. I love listening to music while I'm thinking about something.

Viva Vigan! Binatbatan Festival!

     The Binatbatan Festival here in Vigan City was started in year 2002. This festival is connected to Vigan’s abel Iloco craft. It comes from the word batbat, a pair of bamboo stick used to separate cotton pods that come from a tall tree called kapas sanglay. Kapas sanglay tree bears fruits that dries up at the branches of the tree itself then just falls off after the fruit splits by itself exposing the seed-filled cottons inside. The playful movements of this dance were created for specifically for children and represent the actions of cotton farmers as they separate the seeds from the fibers using sticks. This is to showcase this traditional weaving craft that is said to predate the arrival of the Spaniards. Christmas celebration in the Heritage City of Vigan.

Filipinos are indeed the world's most Christmas-oriented people. We start recognizing the Christmas season as early as September with radio stations playing Christmas songs on the first day of September. In every city or town in the Philippines, each has its own way to celebrate the season. In the World Heritage City of Vigan, its citizens gather as crowd to participate in the unveiling of the Christmas tree, a yearly tradition. Bigueños gathered in number to participate in this annual tradition.The Christmas tree was designed with mannequins dressed with colorful and very detailed (up close) costumes from head to foot.
